Florence J. Woodard passed away February 15, 2009. She was born November 6, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On February 2, 1952 she married Ray Willman and had five children.
In 1969 she moved to Arizona and was most known for being an assistant manager and manager of the Yellow Front stores in Cottonwood and Flagstaff.
Florence is survived by her daughters Nancy Woodard; Sherry VanHorn (Roy), Lisa Hamilton (Todd) and Lori Willman; her grandchildren Ron Woodard (Brenda), Shelley Spelling (Joe), Clete Woodard, Rick Boster, Angela Smith, Sherrell VanHorn, Trace Hamilton and Terri Ruybalid; her great-grandchildren Kayla Smith, Hope, Rick Jr., and Gabriel Boster. She was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Ernst Gatzke, son Scott Willman, husband Ray Willman, foster-mother Louise Monahan, son-in-law Alan Boster, brother Lee Gatzke and son-in-law Ron Woodard Sr.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Calvary Chapel, 7725 N. Highway 89 in Flagstaff. Because of her love of animals, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Florence Woodard's memory to the Second Chance Center for Animals, 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004.
