Frances B Ray's Obituary
Frances B Ray, 85, of Flagstaff, passed away May 25, 2012. She was born to Rupert and Eva Zion Black, a pioneer Flagstaff family on May 12, 1927.
As a child she was baptized at the Federated Community Church. At the age of 15 she went to work at Navajo Army Depot. She married James Ray and together they raised four children and blessed with 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. She was a much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for whom she lovingly sewed volumes of cloths, toys and quilts.
A memorial service will be Friday June 8, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Rays of Hope United Methodist Church, 3104 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix, AZ. Burial will be at the Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, AZ.
