Obituary

Frankie Rosetta McCoy passed away on December 30, 2011 at home surrounded by her family after her courageous 25 year battle with cancer. She was born to Charles and Rose Cox on November 28, 1936 in Mayor, Az. She moved to Flagstaff in 1967 where she raised her 6 children. She owned and operated Frankie's Office and was known for her excellent baking and cooking skills. She received a honorary life-time membership from the Sheriff's Possee for her years of donating cakes to the annual BBQ. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always kept busy with her children and their families. Frankie was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Lewis McCoy, son Lester Hallford, daughter Rosie Fry and her two brothers Billy and Jackie Cox. Frankie is survived by her four daughters and their families; Kathy Smith, Tammy McCoy (Al Copley), Sindy Rosell, Tracy Dodson (Jim). Grandchildren: Jay, Amanda, Heath, Guy, Jimmy, Josh, Tonya, Alyssa and Kelsey. Great Grandchildren: Justin, Jordan, T.J. "Jay", Deven, Hayden, Spencer, Krystina, Landon, Hallie, Eddy, Guy IV, Brantley, and Trinity. Great Great Granddaughter: Raylenn. She will be especially missed by her best friends of more than 40 years; Linda Argumedo, Fran Jackson, Lenora Nackard. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Northland Hospice, P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002 or Mayo Clinic Cancer Research Center. Memorial service will be Friday, 2pm at Christ Church of Flagstaff.
