Obituary

Freddie M. Sloan, 70 died on October 14, 2010. He was born March 11, 1940 in Crown Point, New Mexico. His maternal clan is Mexican people and his paternal clan is Manygoats.

He served his country in the US Army, and retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Mr. Sloan is survived by his wife, Nellie Sloan, 6 brothers Jerry, Harry Jr., David, Robert, Leroy and Jacob Sloan; 4 sisters Virginia Weaver, Freda M Drake, Betty Davidson, and Harriett Sloan-Carter; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. and Hilda Sloan, one brother and one sister.

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 20, at 10 am at Greenlaw Baptist Church, Flagstaff, AZ. Interment with Military honors will conclude services at Citizens Cemetery.
