Obituary

George Dudley McGonagill was born January 31, 1959 and died April 11, 2008.

As an infant Dudley arrived home to his new parents George and Diana in
Winslow where he lived most of his life. Dudley followed his father in a
career as a conductor with Santa Fe Railroad. Physical injuries ended his
Santa Fe career early in life. He owned multiple businesses and became very
active in the Elks Club in Winslow, holding many positions including Exalted
Ruler. He volunteered to head up youth activities sharing his dedication to
children and their futures. He was also an outdoor enthusiast enjoying
hunting, fishing and boating with friends and a scuba diving trip. He was
always ready, the same when the opportunity came to be a pilot.

Dudley in recent years relocated to make his home in Ashfork to be near his
mother and other family members and made new friends. Survivors include his
mother Diana McGonagill, son Billy McGonagill (Rebecca) and daughter Valerie
Sparks (Cameron), eight grandchildren and brother Doug Cotney

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 10:00 am, Ash Fork Cemetery
