Georgina Jennings of Flagstaff, AZ passed away peacefully Friday, February 24 in her home. Georgina was born on May 7, 1922 in Donegal, Ireland to James and Martha Henderson. On August 28, 1951 she married Richard Jennings in Southampton England and in December 1951 they boarded the Queen Mary and immigrated to the United States. They lived several years in the Santa Cruz, CA. In June of 1954 they moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where they resided since then. They became US citizens on October 24, 1957. Georgina was a Nanny in England and served in the British Land Army during WWII. Since being in Flagstaff, she was homemaker, worked several years in the Coconino High School cafeteria and was later a private caregiver.
Georgina is survived by her daughters, Susan Jennings, of Flagstaff, AZ, Denise (Sharon) Hutchinson and her husband Bradley of Glendale, AZ, Her beloved grandchildren Travis Hutchinson of San Marcos, CA, and Caitlin Hutchinson of Waukesha, WI; nieces Marjorie (John) Fenner of Tempe AZ, Kimberly (George) Hess of Halstad, MN and nephew David Jennings of Chandler, AZ. She was preceded in death by husband Richard, her brother Norman Henderson, of England, and her sisters Esther, Dorothy and Olive Henderson also of England.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2nd at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10am with Funeral following at 11am, services will conclude with interment at Citizens' Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be sent to www.norvelowensmortuary.com
