Geraldine West passed away on February 26, 2023 in Flagstaff, AZ at the age of 87. Geraldine was born to Fred Noble and Mary Edna Smith on August 10, 1935. She grew up in McLean, TX and married Billy Murl on September 12, 1952 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

Together they had a son Lonnie Murl (Barbara) West, daughters  Brenda June (Dwight) Durham, Teresa Kay (Harold) Alexander. Later they moved to Flagstaff where they had a daughter Dori Jean (Bradley) West and also a son who passed before birth.

Billy and Geraldine moved to Prescott Valley, AZ in 1993. At the end of 2022 Geraldine moved back to Flagstaff after Billy's passing in 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Noble and Mary Edna Smith, her four brothers Ewing, Vaughn, Fred Jr, and Ford, sister Imogene and her daughter Brenda.

She and Billy had 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren (preceded in death by two) and one great great grandchild.

She enjoyed her beautiful rose bushes and just puttering around in her yard. Most of all she loved her family. Always had a kind word and a sweet smile for everyone. She was dearly loved and cherished and will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary on March 7, 2023 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow immediately after services at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo in Bellemont, AZ.
