Obituary

Glen Hymas Atkin, son of Dennis H Atkin and Theodocia Atkin, was born 5 March 1962 in Honolulu Hawaii. He moved with his family to Flagstaff, Arizona Aug. 1967. He attended Coconino High School. After serving an LDS mission in Thailand he continued with his education at BYU, NAU, and ASU, receiving two Master's degrees. His proficiency with Thai language led him back to Thailand where he became CEO of a large Thai Corporation. After 12 years he returned to Arizona. Most recently he was employed by Wild Tonic, a probiotic company stationed in Cottonwood Arizona. He always considered Flagstaff to be his home. We will remember him as a man of integrity. He is survived by his mother, brothers: Dennis (Beverly), Michael (Jennifer), and William (Cindy) Atkin, and sisters: Laura Ann Atkin, Ruth (Eric Giauque) and Lorraine Wilson.
He died of complications following an accident on Aug.5, 2017. Memorial services were held Sunday, Aug. 6. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, 10:00 a.m. at Flagstaff Citizen's Cemetery.
