On October 11th 2025 "Guy" Jose A Tabares Jr. was involved in a rollover accident on 89A in Prescott and was flown to Honor Health Medical Center in Phoenix, where he fought for his life, his injuries were so severe. He later passed on October 16th 2025. Jose was born in Flagstaff on June 14th 1991. Growing up Guy was a resident of Flagstaff and Prescott Valley. He attended high school at Coconino and then graduated at Bradshaw mountain high school in Prescott valley. A few years later Jose was contacted by the honor society requesting him to join and offer him scholarships and university/ collage in the country. At that moment we had learned that guy had a GPA over 4.0, the look on his face of accomplishment and so proud of himself was priceless. Jose leaves behind his parents Christina Arredondo and Javier Castro, step-father of Prescott Valley and Jose Tabares and Ana Tabares, step-mother of Flagstaff. Many siblings Ramirez Vazquez, Latoya Tabares, Rosa Tabares, Francisco and Sorraya Castro, all of Prescott Valley and Maria Martinez, Sofia, Luis, Alonso, Omar Tabares- Ramirez all of Flagstaff. Guy loved all his nephews and nieces along with all his cousins. Guy was very young and lived his life to the fullest. His kind heart, goofiness and compassion will always be remembered.

Services will be Friday, October 31, 2025 at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Visitation starting at 9am, service at 10 followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
