Harlan Eugene Pitts, 51, of Flagstaff passed away January 23, 2007 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born November 27, 1955 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Harvey and Ann Pitts. At a young age he moved to Arizona with his family.
Harlan had a passion for music and was a musician playing with Randy and the Tear Drops, the Gypsy Blues Band and Real Deal here in Flagstaff. He had even recorded a single. Most recently he had become an ordained minister.
In addition to music he enjoyed the art of tattoos and his Harley motorcycle. He had a way of making everyone feel loved.
Harlan is survived by his mother, Ann Pitts, daughters, Tanya (Chad) van Harreveld, Christy Ann (James) Breazeale, and Katie Stephens, adopted-brother Lyle Pitts, four grandchildren, companion, Donna Lutts, ex-wife Launa Burt and many family and friends that loved him.
A Celebration Bike Ride will start at Flagstaff Hot Bikes, 3122 E. Route 66 Saturday afternoon February 3, 2007 at 1:00. It will conclude with a Celebration of Harlans Life service at 3:00 p.m. at 1st Baptist Church, 629 W. Grant St., Williams, Arizona.
