Harley R. Pittman 31 of Flagstaff passed away June 2, 2010. He was born September 29, 1978 to Tami Pittman in Syracuse New York. As an infant the returned to Arizona. Arizona and Colorado were his homes, although he was very well traveled by the time he was 12.
He attended Cromer Elementary School, East Flag JR High, and graduated from Coconino High Scholl in 1998.
Through his years he has enjoyed the opportunities to learn and grow through his employment. He worked for ADOT in the materials lab, Little America Travel Center, Apria healthcare and The Peaks Assisted Living Community.
Harley was a great cook and enjoyed the times he cooked for others. He was proud to be a recovering alcoholic and donated much time to helping others to the road to recovery including the jail ministry.
He is survived by his grandparent Jen and Melvin Hamilton of Flagstaff, Mother Tami Pitman-Keenan-Rouse of Mesa; brother Kenneth Rouse of Flagstaff; sisters Samantha and Stacey Rouse of Mesa; Harley's special dog and companion Bosco; Aunt Jeri Puccio of Flagstaff and uncles John, Jim and Russell Pittman.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Robert "Speed" Keenan in 1991. May he join him now and ride in the heaven forever more.
His family is blessed by knowing Harley lives on in the many lives he has touched through the years.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ's Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave.
In Lieu of flowers his family has asked that donations be made to the Local AA Group, Flagstaff Central Office 2102 E Third Avenue, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004
