Obituary

Harry Goode was born December 12th 1927 in Washington DC. He met his wife of 58 years, Phyllis, through his sister Annette at a bowling alley in 1950. Harry was a professional Drycleaner for most of his adult life and a proud army veteran of the Korean War. He took a giant leap with his family in 1977 when he moved to Arizona on a grand adventure. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Phyllis which led to his move to Flagstaff where he lived with his daughter-in-law Sabrina and his son Jeff. Harry resided in Flagstaff for 5 years and although he missed the heat of Phoenix he loved his "Bachelor Pad" his children built for him. Harry passed away quietly on June 16, 2014, holding his Daughter-in-Law's hand and is now resting peacefully. Harry was blessed to see his brother and extended family in Florida recently before his passing. Harry was beloved by everyone he met. He is survived by his three children, Keith, Kevin and Jeff Goode, his Grandchildren Tyler and Colton Goode and his Brother and Sister, Morton Goode and Annette Oler. A short religious ceremony was held for family members. Harry met his wife at a bowling alley and was an avid bowler, so as a tribute a Celebration-of-life will be held at Starlite Lanes on Saturday June 28th at 10:00 am.
