Our Beloved Valentine,
Hazel Alma Rickman passed away early Saturday morning, February 9, 2008 at her home in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was a loving mother and is survived by her children Shane Rickman, Charlie Bynar, Karen Rickman, Teresa Mackie, and Wilma Shehryar, their spouses and numerous grandchildren.
Hazel was the oldest of 10 children born to J. Raymond Williams and Alma Freund Williams in Buhl, Idaho on March 15, l935. She lived on a farm in Castleford, Idaho where she attended grade school. At the age of 12 her father moved to Bellevue, Idaho where she graduated from High School in l953.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Williams who helped raise her and her dear sister, Melba Gray.
She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, friends and the many birds she so faithfully fed.
Her flower beds will miss her loving touch and creativity. Surely angles care for her now as her sweet soul finds peace, love and the light of the Christ in the hereafter.
Her funeral will be Thursday, February 14 at 11:00 am at Nativity Church, Flagstaff, Arizona. Her precious body lay in repose at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 for those who wish to send flowers.
