HELEN JAYNE, formerly of Parks, passed away on July 13, 2009, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she moved to be near her daughter, due to the death of her husband Jerry. She hated to leave the Forest and her many friends in Parks, Williams and Flagstaff. Helen was born in Berkeley, California on September 5, 1928, she was a 4th Generation Californian. She lived most of her life in the Bay Area, until she and Jerry retired to Parks. With retirement from AT&T, Helen was able to enjoy what she wanted to do all her life, travel. She and Jerry traveled all around the United States in their 5th wheel, they went as far as Long Island, New York to the State of Washington and numerous places in Canada and Mexico. She often showed off her collection of Magnets from the many places they had been. One of her dreams was a cruise, which they took to Alaska for their 10th anniversary. Helen also enjoyed train travel, in the first 11 years they lived in Parks she went from Flagstaff to Virginia Beach, Virginia, 9 times with stop overs in Chicago and Washington D.C. Between trips she finally had all the time she wanted for reading novels, movies, outings with friends and a few crafts. Helen is survived by her children, Glenn Moseley (Cyndie), Rocklin, Calif. and Peggy Kraushaar (Wil) of Virginia Beach, Va., 5 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter. Stepchildren, Linda Winters, Mariposa, Calif, and Richard Jayne, Cottonwood Calif., 2 step Grandchildren and 2 step Great Grandchildren. Sisters-in-Law, Betty Diefenderfer (Fred) of Williams, Az and Pat Coito, Upland, Calif., Carol Voytenkoff of Melbourne, Australia and cousins she was very fond of in Chicago. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry Jayne, her always much loved, eldest son Bruce Moseley, her infant Granddaughter Amanda Howard, infant Great Grandson Patrick Moseley, and Sister Cathy Gilbert.

At her request there will not be a wake. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2009, in the Williams Cemetery, where she will be buried along side her husband Jerry.
