Henry Robert Anaya "Hank", 51, of Lake Montezuma, AZ passed away May 25, 2007, after a lengthy illness, with his family at his side.
He was born August 16, 1955 to Raymond and Theresa Anaya in Flagstaff, AZ . He was one of ten children. He lived most of his life in Flagstaff moving to Lake Montezuma 3 ½ years ago.
"Hank" worked most of his life as a teacher/Director for Headstart. He had a love to teach children, but the most important thing to him was his family. He also had a passion for nature.
Surviving are his daughters, Sarah and Adrienne Anaya, Along with his siblings Christine Chavez, Edward Anaya, Victoria Gonzalez, Jimmy Anaya, Ramona Anaya, Joseph Anaya, Rita Arias, Mary Anaya and Juanita Goitia.
An evening vigil and Holy rosary will be held 7:00 Tuesday evening May 29, 2007 at Our lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 S. Kendrick St. in Flagstaff, AZ. Funeral Mass will also be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel on Wednesday May 30th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
