Holly Jeanine Valentine, 51, of Flagstaff passed away November 7, 2006. Holly was born on September 11, 1955 in Lockport, NY to Eugene and Gloria Salisbury. Holly moved with her family to Arizona in 1974. She moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1978 and lived there for seven years. She returned to Pinetop, AZ where she met the love of her life, Gary. Holly and Gary moved to Flagstaff in 1989 and made it their permanent home. Holly loved to garden, and prided herself on having the nicest front yard in Kachina Village.

Holly is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Salisbury, and her niece, Pamela Shelby.

Holly is survived by her husband of 18 years, Gary Valentine; daughters, Tammy (Scott) Barnett and Heather (Jimmie) Peace; grand-daughters, Vanessa and Adriana Borek, and Kylie Peace; grandson, Chance Buddecke; sisters, Mary Rogers, Heather Salisbury, and Regina Salazar; and brother, Randy Salisbury.

A public visitation will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 2:00 pm with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northland Hospice, PO Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002 or Sunshine Rescue Mission, 124 S. San Francisco St., Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
