Obituary

Howard passed away peacefully Saturday, November 4th at Flagstaff Medical Center. He was born in Los Angeles, California, but spent most of his life in Arizona, 34 years of which were in Flagstaff. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elaine, his daughter Terra, son Jarred, and granddaughter Juniper.

Howard was a Vietnam veteran, Coppermine warehouse supervisor and long-haul truck driver. He was an accomplished mechanic and carpenter, as well as a computer refurbisher.

With the help of friends and family, Howard made sure his bucket list was complete within just three days. A last ride through Flagstaff in his 1955 Studebaker pickup truck, a two page write up in the AZ Daily Sun, a poker game and saying personal goodbyes to his many friends and family.

There will be no public service. Howard considered the completion of his bucket list and saying personal goodbyes a true celebration of life.
