Icelene Katherine Glisson, 94, of Flagstaff passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008. She was born January 17, 1914 in Batesville, Arkansas to John and Ona Mae Finley Pool.

Icelene enjoyed her life as a dedicated mother and caregiver. You were greeted with a smile and a meal no one ever left her home hungry. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and spoiling everyone rotten. She also enjoyed playing Nintendo. She was an adamant Baptist.

Icelene will be greatly missed by her family, she leaves behind her daughters, Sharon K. Glisson, of California, daughter Terry L. Porter of Flagstaff, grandchildren Kristin Woodburn of New York City, Kurt Woodburn of Oregon, Dana Porter and Leanna Glisson both of Flagstaff, and her great granddaughter Olivia Celeste Ashlan Porter. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Icelene was preceded in death by her husband Arthur A. "Jack" Glisson, her two brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Southlawn Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.
