Imo Wardlow, 92, of Flagstaff passed away June 10, 2005. Born in Rea, Missouri to Walter and Cecil Wardlow on July 11, 1912. In 1916 the family moved to Kansas City, Kansas. After high-school and college she taught in Kansas City and also for a short time in Columbia South America. In 1947 she relocated to Arizona to continue her teaching and missionary works. In 1948 along with Katherine Beard and Dr. Walter L. Wilson founded the Flagstaff Mission to the Navajos. She served with the Mission until her home-going. Her parents and three sisters preceded her in death. Imo is survived by two nephews, three nieces, and many other relatives. Memorial services will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 25th at 1:00 p.m., at Flagstaff Indian Bible Church, 10 West Cherry Street, Flagstaff, Arizona.
