Obituary

Isabel S. Alonzo, 91, of Flagstaff, died April 23, 2010, in Glendale, Arizona under the care of her children and Hospice of the Valley. She was born Nov.17, 1918, in Flagstaff, to Feliciano and Emilia Sandoval.
Mrs. Alonzo touched the lives of many who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Isabel enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking and crocheting and loved to listen to music, especially "big band" music from the 40's. She was a loving and devoted mother who always busy with every activity involving her children and their families.
Mrs. Alonzo is survived by her children: Ed, Yolanda and Armando (Lorri) of Phoenix. Six grandchildren: Mycheal Gonzalez, Teddy (Stephanie) Babbitt, Emmy (Brad) Dewitt, Erin, Ben and Brooke Alonzo. Three great-grandchildren: Jaydin Gonzalez, Hunter and Gunner Babbitt. Brother Tony Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM. and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benito.
An evening vigil and holy rosary will be Friday at 7 p.m., with a funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 a.m., both held at St. Pius X Center, 2257 E. Cedar Ave. Following services, she will be buried next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery.
