James Edward Goodman, 67, of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away on October 14, 2023 with his family at his side.

Jim was born on October 29, 1955, to Edward and Shirley Goodman in Albuquerque , New Mexico. Jim was a long time Flagstaff resident. He graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1973.  He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Kiska from 1973-1976.  He worked for The City of Flagstaff for 24 years.

He is survived by his wife Norma and their two children, Melanie (Flagstaff, Az) and Jason (Denver, Co), brothers, Dan Goodman (Laura), ShowLow, and Tim Goodman (Vicki) Federal Way, WA.

Jim loved sports, coaching his son's baseball teams, watching his daughter play basketball, music, playing the harmonica, wood working, making jewelry and working on his house.

Funeral services will be held in his honor at noon on Monday, October 23. 2023 at Norvel Owen's Mortuary, 914 E Route 66 Flagstaff, Arizona 86001
