Jan S. Pinkoski

Jan Samuel Pinkoski, 60, a long time Flagstaff resident, passed away October 9, 2006. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 25, 1946 to Jan L. and Anna Marie Pinkoski.

Jan graduated form St. Mary's High School in Phoenix and received a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. He retired from Northern Arizona University where he had worked at the Cline Library.

Jan enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening and reading. He was especially loved by his family and all who met him. Jan always had a kind word and took time out for anyone who needed anything.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, sons, Shawn and Nick and his daughter Sonya, grandchildren Emily whom he enjoyed spending much time reading and playing with.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 Saturday afternoon, October 14, 2006 at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66.
