Janice Ortiz, 71, died Friday March 3rd, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ.

Mrs. Ortiz was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt & sister. Her family always came first and if you were ever in need she would be there to help. She lived 25yrs in California, 14yrs in Flagstaff, 7yrs in Camp Verde and the last 5yrs in Phoenix, AZ.

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie L. Ortiz of Phoenix, son Bennie Ortiz, Jr. of Flagstaff, sisters Nona Pinke & Marybeth Weckherlin & brother Andy Harstad, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson & 1 great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, 5pm-7pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 8th at 2pm at Peace Lutheran Church. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 9th at 10am at Citizens Cemetery.
