J.C. Nichols was born July 11, 1927 on September 13, 2005. He was called home to be with the Lord. He was a resident of Flagstaff for 52 years. He retired from the Coconino County Highway Department, after 27 years of service as a heavy equipment operator. The family would like to thank the entire Mayo Clinic Hospital staff. A special thank you to nurse Christine and her mother and Dr. Roberts for going the extra mile. We would like to thank the entire Flagstaff Medical Center staff. Also we would to thank all the friends and family that extended a helping hand. Lastly we would like to give and extra special thanks to Arthur Lee Cottrell for all your love and support.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 1:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 219 S. Eldon. Burial will follow services at the Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St.
