On June 15, 2005, after a long battle with cancer, Jeffery Stang of Flagstaff, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and many of his friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois, and his father Bud.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 19 years Pam, their sons Wyatt and Dillon, a daughter Mariah of Tucson, sisters Kim Fisher(Jim) of Chandler and Karen Mathews of McHeffy, IL, brothers Greg Stang of Tempe, Bob Mathews (Carol Dunnellon, FL, Jerry Mathews (Robin) Dunnellon, FL, Mike Mathews (Bonnie) Marathon, FL, and sixteen nieces and nephews.

Jeff Graduated from St. Mary's High School, Phoenix, AZ, in 197l. He moved to Flagstaff in 1977 and went to work for All American Distributing. He was a salesman for various liquor distributors over the years, but was the "Bud Man" for Golden Eagle Distributors for 15 years.

Jeffs many volunteer activities included serving on the Board of Education and helping with maintenance at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, where he was a member and his sons attended school. He also served as the Equipment Manager for Flagstaff Little League and helped with maintenance at the fields. He loved coaching and attending his son's Little League games and Club Soccer games. He loved playing on as many City League Softball Teams as he could at one time, was an avid mountain bike rider, loved a good game of darts, horseshoes or racquetball; but his favorite things were family trips in the RV, camping with friends and of course a win by the Cubs. He was the best friend you could ever ask for.



Memorial services for Jeff will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2605 N. Ft. Valley Rd, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 18th. Following the memorial service Jeff will be interred at Citizens Cemetery. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 4:00 pm at Cheshire Park following all services.
