Jerry G. Gallegos, 75, a long time Flagstaff resident, passed away at home September 19, 2007 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Gallegos was born on June 25, 1932 in Concho, Arizona to Andres and Ramona Gallegos.

Jerry dearly loved and cared for his family with all of his heart.

As a retired truck driver, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was proud of his family and all of their achievements. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Gallegos is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Hortensia; four children Vickie (Carlos Sr) Covarrubiaz, Margaret Gallegos, Jerry Jr. (Rita) Gallegos, Michael Gallegos, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. He is also survived by Soto Ayala and the Ayala family.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Dora Ayala.

He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on thru his family.

Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2007 from 4 to 5 pm with a celebration of his life following at 5:00 p.m.
