Jewell "Judy" Hickey Townsend, 80, of Flagstaff, passed away on September 30, 2005, at the Olivia White Hospice Home in Flagstaff from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was born on November 28, 1924 in Phoenix, Arizona to John and Lillian Hickey. After her schooling in Flagstaff she spent many years as a bookkeeper for the Navajo Army Depot. During these years she was an avid bowler and one of the founders of the Flagstaff Women's Bowling Association.



She is preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her sisters, Mary Ellen Shiffer and Lillian Hall both of Flagstaff, brother, Bill Hickey of Cornville, plus numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
