Jimmy Sedillo, 64, of Flagstaff, born February 5th, 1945 in Flagstaff died April 20th, 2009, in his home after a 3 year battle with cancer.
Jimmy served his country in the United States Army before returning to Flagstaff to begin his family. He had a long career as an over the road Teamster Operator. Jimmy loved four-wheel driving, fishing and exploring with his metal detector, but most of all he loved the time he shared with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Helen Sedillo, Sisters Marcy Gonzalez, and Mary "Queena" Sedillo, and Brother Gabriel "Gabby" Sedillo, his sons Eddie Chavez, Teddy Sedillo, Jimmy Sedillo, and Johnny Sedillo, daughters Christina Gallegos and Teresa Sedillo, 24 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by both his parents Adelina and Felipe Sedillo, and his brother Sammy Sedillo.
Your great smile, tremendous laugh, amazing strength and love will live on in our hearts. On earth you will be missed while we look forward to one day being reunited with our loving Father, Grandfather, Brother and Husband.
Holy Rosary will be Friday, April 24th 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning also at the church.
