Joan Stevens, 65, passed away in Flagstaff at Flagstaff Medical Center on September 5, 2007. She was born in Cheyenne, WY and lived in Laramie County until the age of ten. She moved with her parents to Arizona where she spent the rest of her life.

Joan worked in Health Care Facilities in Sun City and after becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked for the state of Arizona in Prescott.

Reading was one of her hobbies. However she enjoyed her daily walks in the Kirkland Wash with her little dog Snuffy Smith. She also enjoyed her many caring and supportive friends that lived in the Kirkland area.

Survivors are daughter, Virginia Covey (Maurice) of Flagstaff, son, Louis Noble (Randi) of Mesa, AZ four grandchildren, two great grand children and sister, Phyllis Smith of Martinez, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Stevens, her parents Ted and Olive Plambeck and her brother Philip Plambeck.
