John Franklin Ross Sr., passed away January 12, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

John was born October 3, 1939 in a little house on Coconino Ave in Flagstaff, brought into this world by his grandmother Grace and best friend Mrs. M. Wyatt.

He served in the Air force during peacetime Korea and held several jobs around Flagstaff, best known for his Taxi service, Towing and Pizza Delivery.

John loved his country music, bowling with his wife and son, hunting, fishing, camping and being out in the woods.

John is survived by his son John F. Ross Jr. and Daughter in law Cynthia, great aunt Ruth Steward, many cousins, in Flagstaff, Camp Verde, Nevada and California. John was preceded in death by his wife Betty J. Ross in 2006. His mother Alma Hendrickson 1988 and his great aunt Grace Scholz in 2003.
