Jonathan Wayne
Larson
Oct 23, 1974 — May 28, 2022
Jonathan (Jon) Wayne Larson, 47, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Jon was born on October 23, 1974 in Duluth, Minnesota to LeRoy and Sandy (Patterson) Larson. After graduating from Proctor High School in 1993, Jon enlisted in the US Air Force where he served for six years. Following his service, Jon transitioned his knowledge and skills to the commercial airline industry where he was employed by American Airlines for the past 22 years.
Jon's love for the outdoors took many shapes and forms: riding motorcycles, golfing, camping, and hunting. Jon loved to laugh and he loved making other people laugh. He was loving, genuine, thoughtful, hard-working and had a charismatic personality, an infectious giggle and an ever-present twinkle in his eyes that could put all around him at ease. Those that knew him best knew he was a bad ass and a softy all rolled into one. Jon embraced the good and lived every day to the fullest.
Jon is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Dominguez; children, Kayla Larson (Justin Cvar), and Tristen (Kristen) Larson; mother and step-father, Sandy and Gary Kershaw; sister, Tracy (Joe) Tuma and nieces, Abby & Hope Tuma; step-siblings, Jeff Kershaw, Allan Kershaw (Julie Greene), Kari (Tim) Goddard, Nikki (Rich) Colborn, Amanda (Luke) McKay, and Bryan Kershaw (Erin Rousseau); uncle and aunt, Dwayne & Joy Larson; cousins, Jason Larson and Christy Larson; faithful furry companions, George and Abby; and friends that were family that are too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Larson; grandparents, Jim and Leonore Patterson and Hyrum and Doris Larson; and mother of his children, Tina Radloff Larson.
Jon lived a life worth celebrating TWICE! A celebration of life will be held in the chapel at the Scottsdale AZ Harley Davidson on Saturday, June 11 at 11am. An additional celebration of life will be held at the Proctor MN Moose Lodge on Sunday, July 10 at 12pm.
Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate Jon's life in their own way. (Raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory would be quite appropriate.)
