Jose Chavez's Obituary
Jose Chavez of Flagstaff passed away February 15, 2010. He was born November 18, 1918 in San Rafael, New Mexico.
Mr. Chavez is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII European African Middle Eastern Theater. He moved to Flagstaff in 1950. He worked in Bellmont as a Demobilization Expert and Surveillance Inspector.
Mr. Chavez is survived by his daughter Marina her husband Manuel velar, sons Joe Jr. and wife Lillian Chavez, Jessie Chavez and Eddie Chavez all of Flagstaff, and son Leroy and wife Linda Chavez of Salem, Oregon and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Chavez on May 22, 2004
