Jose G. Garcia passed away February 3, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born to Manuel and Angelita Garcia in Winslow, Arizona on April 10, 1946. He went to school in East Flagstaff where he played basketball and won trophies. Mr. Garcia worked at NAU as a custodian and was very proud of his work. He loved spending quality time with his family and enjoyed walking at Buffalo Park, playing pool and hanging out with Felix Sandoval and John Banbury.

Jose is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kristy and Todd Favro, son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Xochitl Garcia, son Benson Garcia, son Joseph Garcia and son Nathaniel Garcia, by his eight grandchildren Tyler and Tanner Favro, Judy, yariela, Timmy and Baby Seph Garcia, and Gabriela and Carlie Roe Garcia, by his ex-wife Lydia, his brothers Max Garcia and Junior Garcia, his sister Linda Garcia and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2009 from 8:00 to 11:00, followed by funeral services at 11:00, both at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel. 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona.
