Joseph (River Joe) Reichman, longtime resident of Flagstaff, AZ, passed away on March 24th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Omer and Jacqueline Reichman, his wife Kathleen Goitia Reichman, and son Dylan Joseph Reichman. He is survived by his brother Jim (Jessica) Reichman, his children, Amy (Adrian) Dryden, Hannah (Steve) Adkins and Sarah (Zack) Mendoza, daughter-in-law Lindsey Gabriel (Dylan), along with four grandsons and one on the way. Born November 27th, 1952 in Victorville, CA Joseph traveled throughout his childhood to different continents following his father, who was a Lt. Col. In the US Air Force. In Joseph's early life he enjoyed surfing, traveling, and attending concerts. After moving to Flagstaff he worked as a carpenter, a driver for long-haul and tow trucks, and for the FUSD. During this time he led many raft trips on several rivers for his friends and family, earning the name "River Joe". Joe enjoyed riding his Harley with his music blaring, watching NASCAR and taking his family on adventures even for the day. Joe will be remembered for the love he had for his family, creating memories and his ability to tell a story for every occasion. He was a fun loving, crazy for adventure, gentle bear of a man. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. A celebration of life will be held on April 12th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at The American Legion, 204 W. Birch
