Shirley "Joy" (Graham) Crozier, born on April 25, 1936, passed away on October 19, 2019. Joy spent much of her childhood in Duncan, AZ. Her mother died of pneumonia when Joy was 12 years old. Joy and her Dad moved north and lived in Oak Creek Canyon below Midgely Bridge. After graduating from Flagstaff High School in 1954, Joy worked as a secretary for the President of Northern Arizona University for two years, then accepted a position at Navajo Army Depot where she met Bob Crozier. Joy and Bob tied the knot in 1957 and were married for 62 years. Joy later worked at Century 21 Real Estate in Flagstaff, retiring in 1996 after 16 years.
Joy is survived by her husband Bob, her children Deborah (John) McCullough, David (Satsuki) Crozier and Dennis (Wendy) Crozier, along with four grandsons, Tyler, Braedon, Kai and Touma Crozier.
Joy enjoyed playing tennis, family picnics, working in her flower gardens and attended many school band concerts and sports events over the years. Joy enjoyed her friends in P.E.O. and she was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.
A celebration of Joy's life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 25, at the Episcopal Church.
