Judith Hope Hilburn-Corum peacefully joined her savior on Wednesday, May 24th while in her home, surrounded by love. Judy was born on October 6th, 1966 in Scottsdale, AZ. She grew up in Arizona where she graduated high school and met the love of her life, Lester Corum. Lester and Judy moved to Auburn, CA, where their son Eric was born, before settling down back in Arizona. Judy worked many fulfilling jobs such as medical billing, a journalist for a newspaper, and running an in-home day care. Judy loved children and watching them grow, and nothing compared to the pride, joy, and love she felt for her own son. Judy found her home in the Arizona beauty, and often called herself a "desert girl." She found her second lo collecting sea shells in the sand by the ocean. In her free time, Judy enjoyed collecting rocks and geodes, treasure hunting in thrift shops for new pieces of blue and white china to add to her collection, quilting, crafting, and journaling. She was an expert seamstress and could fix any rip, hole, or zipper that came her way. Judy will always be remembered for her quick and sharp wit, charming humor, tough spirit, and huge heart. Judy is survived by her beloved husband Lester Corum, cherished son Eric Corum, loving daughter-in-law to be Kim Belikoff, and wonderful mother and father-in-law Bob and Sue Corum. Memorial services will be 10am, Saturday, June 3 at Norvel Owens Mortuary.
