Judith E. Krumm died January 30 following a courageous fight with cancer. She was 72 years old. Judy was born September 9, 1937 to Paul and Dolores Black in Canton, Ohio. She moved with her parents to Flagstaff, graduating from Flagstaff High School in 1955. Judy married Larry D. Krumm in 1962, giving birth to three sons, Mark, Brian and Kent.
When the boys entered high school, Judy went to work at the Pawn Shop in downtown Flagstaff, selling Native American arts, crafts and jewelry. She later worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Paul Armstrong Pharmacies at Village Pharmacy on Beaver Street, retiring from Safeway Store Pharmacies. Judy was a caretaker of both her parents and close neighbors as they aged, balancing this with her cherished family and hobbies of knitting and beadwork. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, holding several offices in the Coconino Chapter. After retirement, she and her husband Larry split their time between their homes in Flagstaff and Paulden in Chino Valley, where they raised Longhorn cattle and Quarter horses.
Judy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry; sons Mark, Brian and Kent; daughters-in-law Karen and Brandy; 9 grand children, Amanda, Charissa, Abbey, Brian, Anthony, Megan, Austin, Ryan and Shelby and one great-grandchild, Rachael.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dolores Black.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 at Flagstaff Federated Community Church, 400 W. Aspen Ave., with a reception following in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Northland Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
