Julie McGaugh, passed away January 9, 2024 at Haven Health Long Term Care in Sedona, Arizona.

She was born June 7, 1956 in Duluth, MN and spent her first 14 years in Silver Bay, MN. After which her family relocated to Moorhead, MN.  Following graduation from Moorhead HS Julie started working at AT&T where she worked for thirty years.  During her tenure with the phone company she was relocated to Omaha, NE.

Julie suffered a debilitating stroke about the time she was getting ready to retire.  Through rigorous rehabilitation, she was able to regain some mobility and be an inspiration to others.  In 2018, she was moved to Flagstaff, AZ to be closer to family where she was admitted to The Peak's Assisted Living facility.  At the Peak's she made friends and enjoyed participating in many activities.  She also enjoyed, football, reading and being creative.  With help, she made beautiful greeting cards and wreaths.

In 2023 Julie was moved to Haven Health Long Term Care because of deteriorating health.  She peacefully passed away January 9, 2024.

Julie is survived by her sister Sharon, brother Bryan and their respective spouses Francis and Marlene, niece Taylor, nephew Dylan and their respective spouses Scott and Cassidy, and the love of her life, grandniece, 2-year-old angel, Ila Rae.
