Justine Joy Martyn (née Horn, née Bacon) passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 24, 2026. A loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend - she was a valued member of the Flagstaff community for over thirty years, where she raised three children and thrived in the beauty of mountains.

Never one to sit still, friends and family never expected what she'd do next. From her career move of property management to healthcare administration, and eventually working in jewelry - she found friends wherever she went and excelled in all her various careers. Always trying to better herself, she completed and earned a certificate in Medical Billing from the University of Phoenix in 2021.

In her spare time, she made organic luxury bath products, jewelry from beautiful gemstones, and was a brilliant writer in poetry and fiction. A pious woman, she was a member of the Greek Orthodox church and maintained a faithful relationship to God her entire life.

She is survived by Ralph Martyn, her devoted husband and partner. Her cherished children, Anthony Horn, Jasmine Horn, and Angelina Martyn. Her father, Robert Bacon and siblings Jason Bacon, Audrey Downey, Morgan Bacon, and Amy Bacon. And, of course, her beloved dog, Winston.

She saw the best in all of those around her, and she was one of the most kind, genuine, and heartfelt people.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial Service will be held 9:30 am, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Interment will conclude services at Citizens' Cemetery, Flagstaff, AZ.
