Karen Ann (Summers) Brewer, born October 8,1946, passed away April 5, 2021 at the age of 74 in her home in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Karen was the second of three girls born to the late Wade and Edith Summers in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was a third generation born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona and attended Flagstaff High School where she met her husband David (Dave) Wayne Brewer. Instead of choosing a higher level of schooling she married David Brewer on October 19,1962 and raised a beautiful family.

Karen and David raised three children in Flagstaff, Arizona: Daren Kay Carlson, Darwin Furn Brewer, and Jimmy Wayne Brewer. Karen took pride in being a homemaker who was involved in her children's various school activities ranging from violin concerts to football games. She was a devoted wife, mother, and me maw that loved spending time hunting, camping, fishing, country dancing, and spending time with her beloved family.

She is survived by her devoted husband David Wayne Brewer; sibling Linda Bennett; loving daughter Daren (Don) Carlson, loving sons Darwin (Pamela) Brewer, Jimmy (Shelley) Brewer; grandchildren Benjamin Carlson, Trista (Carlos) Dougi, Annie Brewer, Savannah Brewer, Chris Mrotek, Michael (Megan) Brewer, Suzanne (Charles) Baca; great-grandchildren Cassidey Dougi, Ty Dougi, Isabella Dougi, Damion Brewer, Emma Brewer, Nova and Sylus Mrotek, Amreea and Ramona Baca, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed, and her legacy and memories will continue through her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents Wade and Edith Summers and sister Sharon Hillman.

Karen's life will be celebrated with a graveside service conducted by Pastor Nathaniel Bradford, Saturday, April 17, 2021, 2 pm at Citizens Cemetery, Flagstaff, Arizona.
