Kathe Ryza, devoted wife of Stephen for 27 years, died on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born in New York City, she was the loving daughter of James and Audrey McBrearty. Her large family includes her sister Patricia, brothers Thomas, Peter and James, brother-in-law Mark and sisters-in-law Rita, Stephanie and Janet. There are fourteen nieces and nephews and twenty-two great nieces and nephews who call her Aunt Kathe. She lived and worked as an artist in London before moving to Flagstaff where she has many good friends with whom she shared her love and laughter. There will be an Open House Memorial at Norvel Owens Mortuary on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 pm, to remember her with gratitude for the joy she brought to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northland Hospice in Kathe's name would be appreciated.
