Kelton Keith "Kelly" Perkins

Kelly Perkins passed away on Thanksgiving Day at the Olivia White Hospice Home. He was born June 1, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas and lived most of his life in San Diego, California. Kelly is survived by his wife, Kathy and stepson Sean McNally of Flagstaff; daughters Lanette Gicante and Kelly Barbeau and 2 granddaughters of San Diego; brother Joe Coyle and his wife, Bee of Flagstaff; sister Thalia Jo Parker and her husband Charlie, cousins David Perkins and Ila Marie Domaschk all of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Kelly was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served in the 101st Airborne Division. During the 1960s Kelly enjoyed drag racing as well as running road rallies. He was an active member of the Route 66 Car Club of Flagstaff. He loved animals, classic cars, watches and spending time with family.



A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff . Automotive or Hawaiian attire please. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kelly's honor go to the Coconino Humane Association 3501 East Butler Avenue Flagstaff, AZ 86004or Northland Hospice P.O.
