Kevin Patrick
Selitto
Aug 4, 1954 — Nov 19, 2024
Kevin Patrick Selitto, 70, died November 19, 2024, in Parks, AZ. His family is deeply saddened to lose such a devoted and generous man. Kevin was born in Yuma, AZ to Kevin Sr. and Juanita Selitto, both deceased.
Kevin was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Kathy, his brother, Thomas Selitto, nephew, Quinton Callaway, and brother-in-law, Raymond Gonzales. He is survived by his sisters, Karin (Mark) Curry, Barbara Gonzales, Patricia (Bane) Callaway, his brother, David (Yolanda) Selitto, his many nephews and nieces, his stepdaughter Cassie (Ben) Wilson and stepson Jonny (Rebecca) McIntier, grandson Jonathan (Brittney) Wilson, granddaughters Madeline Wilson, and Molly and Maggie McIntier and great-grandson, Quinn Wilson.
Kevin was a Sergeant in the United States Army, supporting the U.S. Army Air Calvary. Upon separating from the military, he began his career with the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in 1983. Kevin served in numerous roles at YPG, and his knowledge of Direct-Fire weapons Systems, Communication Systems, and Integrated Systems Mechanics was invaluable to the US military personnel serving in our armed forces. After 31 years of dedicated service, he retired in 2014 and moved to Parks, AZ, with his wife, Kathy.
Kevin was a loyal and gregarious man, making friends everywhere he went. He was a dedicated professional and patriot, a fun-loving man who enjoyed football, hunting, and old westerns. Kevin made everyone around him feel like family, we will miss him bitterly.
A private service will be held at Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bellemont, AZ, and a Celebration of Life will be held January 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Disabled American Veterans, 954 S 13th Ave, Yuma, AZ.
