Kiley Miller, born May 12, 1934, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, passed away peacefully in Long Beach, California on September 24 at the age of 90.
A dedicated Christian, Kiley was known for her kindness and grace, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kiley graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1957. In 1958, she married her beloved husband, Bill. They enjoyed 65 wonderful years together. In 1982, they moved from Phoenix to Flagstaff to help start the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at Northern Arizona University. Kiley moved to Long Beach 3 years ago to live with her beloved son Joe after Bill's passing.
Kiley raised her children in Phoenix, instilling in them the values of compassion and faith. She is survived by her sons, Bill and Joe, and was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Suzanne. Kiley was a proud grandmother to Ryan, Mike, Billy, Timothy, Mark, Steven and Ellie. She cherished her nine great-grandchildren scattered throughout Europe, New Zealand, Florida and California.
Actively involved in her church community, Kiley made lasting friendships and inspired many with her unwavering spirit and love for the scriptures. Her generous nature and comforting presence brought love and mercy to those around her. Her spirit will forever guide and inspire those she leaves behind.
A family memorial service will be held in Laguna Beach over the Christmas Holidays. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kiley's grandson Billy's ministry in Romania: Assured Hope Ministries, https://assuredhopeministries.com.
