Larry K. Bigler, 88 passed away on Friday Nov. 20, 2020, from natural causes.
Larry was born March 18, 1932 in Snowflake Arizona. He was the first child of the late William K. Bigler and Larue (Stratton) Bigler.
Larry married his sweetheart Pauline Hunt, on Feb. 16, 1955 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He devoted his life to his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbors, but most importantly to his Father in Heaven.
He had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. He served in various organizations for the LDS church, serving in Elders Quorum presidencies and High Priest Group leadership, High Council, Ward and Stake mission leaders, Scout leader and as a teacher. He found joy and never tired in providing service to others both within church and his community. He also loved working in the Snowflake Temple for 11 years.
Larry served in the Korean war as a communication specialist. He worked for the local phone company for over 30 years and 10 years for Navajo County.
Larry loved raising horses and was always looking for the next best colt. He also enjoyed farming and raising crops to feed his livestock. He took great pride in his summer garden. He loved spending time with his family. He leaves a legacy of love, devotion and faith to his six children, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Wife Pauline Bigler, Granddaughter Kelly Swan, Father William K. Bigler, Mother Larue Bigler; his Brothers Willy Bigler, Leon Bigler, Dan Bigler and two Sisters, Pearl Owens and May Barney.
Survivors include his brothers Garry Bigler, Scott Bigler and sisters Glenna Nichols, Nancy Wilson, and Sharon Marble. Plus his six children, daughters Debra Swan (Richard) of Provo, Utah, Linda Bigler of Snowflake, Marlene Paulsen (Nolan) of Sparks, NV and Lisa Bruce (John) of Snowflake, and sons Larry D. Bigler of Gilbert and Kenneth Bigler of Phoenix.
Funeral services will be held Nov. 28th at the Snowflake Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10:00 AM
