Leonard Shrewsbury of Sun City AZ passed away September 25th in Flagstaff AZ at the age of 82. He was a friend to everyone he met and a great Husband and Father. Len is survived by his son Norman Shrewsbury and Jean L. Shrewsbury. He was preceded in death by his wives Zelma Hancock and Bea Maxwell.

Len was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lakeview Oregon. He served in Europe during WW II. He graduated from Wesley West Virginia College with a degree in Engineering. He worked as a petroleum engineer for Lubrizol and Farm Land Coop. He volunteered as a scout leader for many years in Birmingham Michigan. He was an avid traveler and stamp collector. Most recently he was studying Spanish and volunteering in elementary schools and teaching English for literacy volunteers.

Friends will be received at the home of Jean Shrewsbury at a later date in Sun City AZ.
The family has suggested donations be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Literacy Volunteers in lieu of Flowers.
