Obituary

LeRoy A. Keller, 69, died Monday, June 13, 2005, in Flagstaff after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Keller was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served two tours of duty overseas, in Vietnam and Korea.

After leaving the Air Force, he became a mill mechanic for Duval Mines in Tucson. At the end of that career, he went to work for the Arizona Department of Corrections as a correctional officer, after which he retired in 1997 and moved to Flagstaff with his wife.

Of his many hobbies, his passions were hunting and fishing, which he pursued to the fullest. Mr. Keller made many friends throughout his life and was loved by every one he met.

Mr. Keller is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Helga; son Richard; daughter-in-law Carol; mother Jennie Stienke of Waukesha, Wis.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
