Obituary

Linda Ann Van Bibber, age 70, was called home to the Lord on the morning of December 13, 2019 at her home in Flagstaff, Arizona.  Born on November 1, 1949 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Syble Ann (Hale) and Virgil Eugene Van Bibber.  As the youngest of three children, Linda spent the majority of her childhood in Indiana.

She attended high school at Canyonville Bible Academy (Oregon) and graduated in 1968.  This was where she met her future husband and father of her children.  She was a loving and devoted mother to Brent Bradley Reed and Syble Lavon Paris (Reed).  Linda had an adventurous soul and was a lifelong learner.  Throughout her life, she worked both in and out of the home, spending the last portion of her life lovingly engaged with and caring for her grandchildren.  Additionally, her love of learning lead her to continue secondary education through her late 60's even after obtaining her Associates degree in General Studies from Coconino Community College in 2007.

Linda was a devout Christian who loved Jesus.  As an active member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and sharing her love of Jesus with others.  She was a kind, loving, fun and generous person who cherished spending time with family and friends, either at home or while traveling on an adventure.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Syble Ann Lewis (2011), Virgil Eugene (1986) and her beloved son Brent (2015).  She is survived by her brothers William Van Bibber and Ronnie (Terry) Van Bibber; daughter Syble and her husband Aaron Paris along with their 3 children-Avery, Addison and Liam; daughter-in-law Joy Dunkelbarger-Reed (Brent) and their 2 children Blake and Caitlyn.  Linda is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews - Belynda Carrington, Andrea Van Bibber, Duane Van Bibber, Bradley Van Bibber, Jeff Van Bibber, Evan Van Bibber and Ryan Van Bibber.

The memorial service will occur on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1pm at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Flagstaff, Arizona.
