Lorenzo Madrid Ruiz, 90, of Clarkdale, AZ, formally of Flagstaff passed away November 14, 2016. Lorenzo was born August 9, 1926 in Jerome, AZ to Jose and Carlotta Ruiz. Lorenzo enjoyed fishing, gardening, wood working and especially spending time with his family. Lorenzo was in the US Army during WWII and is a lifelong member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his son Paul Ruiz.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Carman, and children Michael (Ramona) Ruiz, Lorenzo (Mariaelena) Ruiz, Dianna (Tony) Santillan, Charlotte (Robert) Moreno, Rosanna Ruiz, Tony Ruiz, Patty (Ernie) Estrella and his lifelong friend Fernando "Slim" Duran, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be Saturday 9-10am with service to follow at 10am at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E Route 66 Flagstaff, AZ.
