Loretta Mae Cody, "Mae" 59 yrs old of Flagstaff, Az. Passed away Dec. 18, 2010 at Flagstaff Medical Center due to illness. She was born in McNary, Az. The daughter of Kee Bahee Sr. & Moretta Keams and sister of Dean Bahee, Doris Bahee, Cheryl McCabe, Roger Bahee, Percy Bahee, Kee Bahee Jr.,& Danny Bahee. They all grew up in Toloni Lake, Az.

Loretta went to school in Flagstaff, Az. stayed in the Flagstaff dormitory. She graduated Flagstaff High School. She had many friends and was loved so.

On December Dec. 22, 1975 in Flagstaff, Az. She married Leroy Ben Cody Sr. of Grand Falls, Az.
Loretta continued her education at N.A.U. for Bilingual Education, and then received her masters in Bilingual Education. Went to being a teacher at Leupp School Inc. Then a reading facilitator at Leupp School Inc. Highly decorated at all positions.

Loretta enjoyed life and her family. She was always ready to help.

Survived by her spouse Leroy Ben Cody Sr., Daughter Pamela Yazzie Son-in-law Brian Yazzie. Daughter Carolyn Yazzie, Son-in-law Jason E. Yazzie, grandchildren Kyle & Logan Yazzie.

Services well be Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 10 am at Novel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff, AZ, 914 E. Route 66. Interment will be at Citizens Cemetery.
